Fairfax Economic Mobility Project Landing Page Design

Skills: UI Design, Graphic Design
Tools: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Canvas

Created in 2025 for Fairfax County (via Go Fish Digital internship)

Task Guidelines:

  • Deliverable: Compose a desktop and mobile responsive design for a long scrolling landing page for The Fairfax Economic Mobility Project using the provided content and brand colors: Blue #2F89AF and Orange #F47925.
  • Project Goal: To increase awareness of the systemic barriers affecting financial stability in Fairfax County and build community support for policies and programs that advance economic mobility for ALICE families.
  • Audience: Fairfax residents, business leaders, service providers, and policymakers.
  • Tone: Empathetic, informative, urgent, and forward-looking.
  • Design Note: The page design should remain modular, flexible, and evergreen for long-term use and updates.

Note that most of the cards in the “I am your neighbor” block still have lorem ipsum because I had not yet been provided with additional quotes.

Based on the client’s feedback, I made adjustments to the background colors, imagery, and block layout. I created a map of the planning districts in Fairfax County for the third block, intended to be interactive. I replaced the donut pyramid graphic that I had been provided with a new step pyramid I designed using brand colors.
