Concept Redesign for the Town of Holly Springs‘ Canine Con Webpage (2025)

After noting problems with the existing design, I redesigned the Canine Con webpage—an annual community event my neighboring town hosts to celebrate dogs and their owners—to create a more engaging, user-friendly experience that better reflects the fun energy of the event.

Problems on the existing page:

The goal of my redesign was to make the page visually inviting and easy to navigate, encouraging more visitors to attend and participate. I retained the existing site framework but refreshed the visuals and layout to improve readability and visual hierarchy. Bright, playful colors, dog-themed iconography, and clear calls-to-action helped capture the festival’s friendly, community-driven spirit while guiding users toward key details like event schedules, vendors, and registration.
